Work Life People Launches Groundbreaking Menopause Accreditation Programme for Employers
New accreditation framework aims to help organisations build menopause competence, accountability and inclusive workplace cultures

Work Life People has officially launched its new Menopause Accreditation Programme, providing organisations with a structured, evidence-based framework to strengthen menopause support across all levels of the workforce.
Developed by Karina Todd, Founder and CEO of Work Life People, the programme responds to growing demand from employers seeking practical guidance on how to move beyond awareness initiatives and create meaningful, sustainable workplace support for employees experiencing menopause.
The accreditation programme has been designed to help organisations develop menopause competence across teams, line managers, HR professionals and senior leaders, while embedding best practice into workplace policies, procedures and culture.
According to Karina, the programme addresses a significant gap in the current workplace wellbeing landscape.
“Many organisations want to do the right thing when it comes to supporting employees through menopause, but they often lack a clear framework for implementation,” she said.
“This accreditation programme provides organisations with the structure, resources and accountability they need to move beyond good intentions and build genuine capability across their workforce.”
The accreditation pathway is aligned with recognised workplace wellbeing and inclusion principles and focuses on helping organisations create environments where employees feel understood, supported and able to perform at their best.
Key objectives of the programme include:
- Supporting colleagues experiencing menopause with greater confidence and consistency
- Enhancing manager and HR understanding of workplace responsibilities and duty-of-care considerations
- Strengthening employee wellbeing, trust, retention and psychological safety
- Establishing formalised, measurable approaches to menopause support
The accreditation package includes a comprehensive suite of resources, including dedicated eLearning pathways for employees, line managers, HR and People teams, and senior leadership teams. Participating organisations will also receive policy frameworks, practical toolkits, implementation guidance, benchmarking opportunities and annual renewal support to encourage continuous improvement.
By achieving accreditation, organisations can demonstrate not only awareness of menopause-related workplace challenges, but also a commitment to competence, fairness and inclusive practice.
Karina believes the programme represents an important step forward in the evolution of workplace wellbeing.
“Menopause support should not depend on individual managers, informal conversations or isolated initiatives,” she said. “It should be standardised, measurable, inclusive and sustainable. That’s exactly what this accreditation programme has been designed to achieve.”
As organisations begin planning wellbeing strategies, diversity and inclusion commitments, and workforce policy priorities for 2026, Work Life People believes there is a growing need for practical frameworks that help employers turn policy into action.
The launch marks another significant milestone for the award-winning business, which recently received recognition as Best New Start-Up Business at the Local Women Business Awards.
Looking ahead, Work Life People hopes the accreditation programme will help drive a new standard of workplace menopause support, ensuring organisations are equipped to respond confidently and compassionately to the needs of their workforce.
“2026 is the year menopause support becomes aligned, accountable and accredited” Karina added. “Organisations that invest in menopause competence today will be better positioned to support their people, strengthen their culture and build workplaces where everyone can thrive.”
